Peirce Paper Saver is an example of the type of functionality available in Peirce Print Tools. Peirce Print Tools is a collection of printing tools for use with QuickDraw GX. It includes:
• Paper Saver prints 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, or 16 pages on each page of paper
• InkSaver saves money on ink and toner by adjusting the darkness when you print. Great for draft printing.
• WaterMark prints text (such as DRAFT, CONFIDENTIAL, or your own words) or pictures on the background of your pages in a specified shade of gray.
• Border easily frames your page with a variety of elegant borders.
• Pamphlet makes it easy to print single fold pamphlets with no fuss from any application.
• CoverPage adds an informative and fun cover page to each print job. Add a message or a picture as well as user name, page count, etc.
• DoubleSider makes it easy to print on both sides of the paper.
• BackToFront makes it easy to print your pages in reverse order.
• Log lets you track usage of your printer, allowing you to bill users back for expensive materials. You can also track custom data, such as PO numbers, for each print job.
It also includes Peirce Print Menu and Peirce Print Utility. Peirce Print Menu is a handy system extension that lets you use the Peirce Print Tools with applications that do not yet support the QuickDraw GX print dialog. Peirce Print Utility lets you create custom text or graphics watermarks and cover pages as well as view your print logs.
